Financial Controller

Key Accountabilities:

• You develop and implement financial reporting, including budget to actual variance analysis, ensuring timely and adequate monthly financial reporting. 
• You provide analyses on plant results and do proposals to the General Manager in order to assist him in his decision-making or to take corrective actions if necessary. 
• You develop a view on the forecasted financial results and cash flows of Betafence Turkey, based on all available business information. 
• You are responsible for the proper statutory and tax reporting. 
• You develop and implement a standard cost price system, including variance analysis. 
• You implement adequate administrative procedures and internal control. 
• You also ensure that all transactions and payments are handled correctly and comply with legal requirements, and internal guidelines and procedures. 
• In order to ensure optimal results for the plant, you liaise with legal and fiscal units of the Betafence Group. 
• In compliance with group guidelines, you manage the investment request procedure at plant level. 
• You report directly to the General Manager Turkey. 
• You monitor the working capital position and its impact of changes on the financial position.

Candidate profile:

• You have a university degree in economics and a financial background or equivalent by experience. 
• 3 years of experience in accounting, controlling & financial management. 
• You have a strong affinity with a production environment. You have experience in managing and implementing financial projects. 
• Dynamic personality with excellent analytical skills. 
• Being able to work independently. 
• Fluently in English. 
• Good IT-knowledge (excel/MS Office) is a must. Knowledge of SAP is an asset. 
• You are result oriented and act with integrity.
