TECHNICAL ENGINEER MIDDLE EAST


You are responsible for the technical support of the projects (perimeter control & perimeter protection) of our sales team. This means that you will be involved from the first contact with the client just until the commissioning of the project. As a technical engineer you play an active role in the implementation of our Total Solution approach.

More specific:

  • Design and prepare the projects. Based on the needs of the client and taking into account the characteristics of the environment, you will design the technical solution for the client (mechanical, electronically solution) by using CAD software. 
  • Based on the perimeter length or site layout a complete Bill of Quantity must be made. This includes a detailed plan of all products with dimensions, qualities and quantities. 
  • Define the technical solution together with the sales manager. 
  • You finalize the product drawings, define the specifications. 
  • The next steps are updating the installation manual, train the installers and give technical support to agents and distributors 
  • You study and analyze tenders as a preparation for the offer or to transfer a summary of the tender to headquarters. 
  • You visit regularly the project sites in the GCC markets. You do site inspections on quality, in order to check whether the installation of the project corresponds with the Betafence specifications.

We are looking for:
A bachelor or master in engineering (electro-mechanical / mechanical).
You have an experience of 3 years in a technical support function. You have the ambition to become a technical expert in our fencing products. Structured in your approach, accurate with figures and client oriented; are typical for your work behavior. You are flexible and are open to travel in order to train our installers or to solve technical problems.
