Betafence Turkey , based in Silivri (80 km from Istanbul), develops, produces and sells fencing systems for a wide variety of applications (agricultural, residential, industrial and high security). Betafence Turkey is part of the international group Betafence, with headquarters in Belgium. In order to support the further growth and to strengthen our market position in Turkey, we are looking for a (m/f):  
accounting and financial reporting analyst

In this function, you report directly to the General Manager and the Plant Manager and work in a team of 3 persons. After an in-depth training you become responsible for the financial reporting and analysis.

Financial reporting

  • You are part of the team that prepares the monthly financial closing.
  • You prepare the monthly financial reporting to the headquarters and communicate with headquarters on financial matters (communication within the group is in English).

Financial analysis

  • You assist the General Manager and the Plant Manager in analyzing the financials (budget to actual variances, evolution of working capital, cash flow evolution and forecast for next month).
  • You assist production in the evaluation of investment (capital expenditure) files.
  • You calculate standard cost prices for all products produced in the factory.
  • You analyze variances between the standard cost price and the actual cost price of a product.

Profile

  • You have a university degree in economics.
  • You are fluent in English.
  • You are willing to obtain the certificates required to file tax and government reporting.
  • You have a strong affinity with and interest in a production environment.
  • You have good knowledge of general accounting and cost accounting.
  • You have excellent analytical skills.
  • You have in-depth knowledge of excel.
  • You are result oriented and act with integrity.
  • You are ambitious and interested in working in a dynamic international environment.
